- What are the Names of home alone films?
For Joe Pesci to fly over 20 feet in the air during the toy store burglary, the energy required for this to happen exceeds the input energy, implying a direct violation of physics. Kevin in a montage is seen travelling around New York City and goes to or sees some of the sights, but there is no way Kevin could had done all that in just a short time as New York City is one of the biggest cities in the world. After Cedric collides with Hector and Stone while chasing Kevin, a side-on shot shows him starting to get up, but a moment later he is lying on the floor unconscious. When Kate gets up to yell at Kevin at the stalled Christmas pageant, she and Peter get up together, but in the next shot only Kate rises to yell Kevin's name. When Harry and Marv are at the skating rink, Marv puts on the earmuffs, and his hair is pulled back under them. When Marv and Harry begin to chase Kevin out of Duncan's Toy Chest, Kevin stops to buy a cultured pearl necklace to trip them up.
At Central Park where the pigeons are feeding on Marv and Harry, Kevin lights fireworks that do not scare the birds away. However, when the police come, they fire one shot in the air which scares all the birds away. Kevin's parents questions the Plaza staff about how they would have let a kid check into a hotel by himself, but the staff for some reason never mentions the fact that Kevin explained his father was staying with him. They do, however, say that he 'had a very convincing story', even though they never disclose it.
Trip to Paris
Just before sliding into the shelves of paint, Marv leaves several footprints in the green goo. As he slides on the floor, the goo is undisturbed except for Marv's hand prints. At the top of the stairs, the tool chest wheels are all facing sideways.

In the original Kevin - Allein zu Haus, Kevin's cousin Heather counts heads and there are 15 people between the two families. In "Home Alone 2" there are only 14 boarding passes between the two families. However, in the first movie, the McCallisters travel to Paris to drop Heather off with her parents. Therefore, in the second film, it is implied that Heather is in Paris during the events that take place in this film.
Movie Legends: Was Home Alone Originally Masterminded by Uncle Frank?
However, the recording that he plays is the whole "Cool Jerk" song that his uncle was singing in the shower. The movie never even shows Uncle Frank singing the first part of the song, and even if he did, Kevin started the recording much later than when he started singing, yet somehow the whole song from the beginning plays. Marv's reaction to Harry demonstrating his idea of using adhesive-coated gloves to pickpocket by sticking his hand in a collection bucket is "We bust out of jail and the first thing you do is steal 14 cents from a Santy Claus?".
Trump says down the hall and to the left, but Kevin turns right and arrives at the lobby. Kevin is riding in the limo; Hotel guy finds out Peter's card has been reported stolen. I've read a lot of interviews by Hughes and Columbus for the film and that topic has literally never come up. It's a bit out there as a theory in the film itself (since we see HOW the Wet Bandits find out that the McCallisters are going out of town - Joe Pesci's character visits them disguised as a cop). Plus, the film explains that lightning knocked down the power lines and it is unlikely that Frank could replicate that scenario precisely. One of the trickiest things for me to do with legends is to prove negatives.
Kevin - Allein zu Haus
However, it should have read "P McCallister" because this is his father Peter's bag; Kevin was holding it since the family arrived at the airport and it contains all of Peter's money and his ID. When Harry and Marv are hit by the pipe after the paint cans miss them, the ropes are shown attached to the banister to the right of the stairs. There is no way they could swing straight down the stairs from where they are attached.

During Harry and Marv's attempt to scale the stairs, they have a direct line of sight straight to Kevin. Soon after Harry and Marv are struck with the large pipe, Kevin is seen cutting the pipe's rope loose. However, in this scene, Kevin is no longer visible, implying that the hole is further away. Finally, when Kevin first throws the pipe, the angle that it swings it implies a short rope, meaning that the pipe would have started moving backwards.
Cool Jerk was the song that Uncle Frank sang in the shower in Home Alone 2.
When Kevin is in the park with the pigeon woman, he asks her if she interested in joining him in a cup of hot chocolate, which he offers to buy and treat her to. The Concierge back at the Plaza Hotel took not only his Dad's credit card, but also the envelope of cash. So how could Kevin buy the pigeon lady and himself a cup of hot chocolate? Although Kevin could also have had cash in another one of his coat pockets or cash in his pants pocket that the concierge didn't take.
However, Marv clearly has more than a dollar in change stuck to his glove when he holds it up in the following shot. Kevin can easily reserve a room in a high class hotel like the Plaza Hotel near Christmas time where hotels should be fully booked up. Harr tells Marv the plan is to wait in the toy houses until everyone leaves then then empty the cash registers and walk out. He fails to state how they could easily walk out without tripping the alarms.
Before it falls, all the wheels including the fixed wheels are facing forward. At the start when the newspaper blows to Kevin's house, it shows the news of Marv and Harry's escape along with their mugshots, presumably after their arrest in the original as they are shown with their injuries. The top half was burnt off when his head was scalded from the blowtorch.
Then, when they were in France, he could have called the Wet Bandits and told them to rob the place. The idea being that he could rob his brother's place while he knew his brother and his family would be gone. When Kevin encounters Marv and Harry outside the toy store, the camera zooms in on Kevin's bag with the name "K McCallister" embroidered on it.
In O'Hare Airport, the wrong Peter McCallister is seen purchasing at a kiosk with March 1992 issues of "Cosmopolitan", "Good Housekeeping", "Glamour", and "Vogue" magazines visible. The film is set in December 1992 (this is established by the Plaza Hotel ledger when the the concierge checks Peter's credit card). 1990's Home Alone, written by John Hughes and directed by Chris Columbus, was one of the most popular Christmas films of all time. The conceit of the picture is that young Kevin McCallister is accidentally left behind when his large, extended family all travel to visit relatives in France for Christmas. Kevin, just the night before, wished that he could be "home alone," so the young kid thought that his wish had come true. In the scene where Marv and Harry are hastily climbing down the rope to catch Kevin, and Kevin then sets it on fire to buy him some time, prior to when they let go in the long shot, the rope is clearly not attached to the building.

The burn mark from the front door of the McCallister residence is briefly seen on Harry's right hand when Kevin comes flying towards him from running out of the Plaza Hotel. However at the same time, the original hand position Harry had was actually using that right hand, with his thumb facing downward, which should've hand the burn mark facing sideways as opposed to vertical. Marv would most definitely not able to get up after Harry ordering him to. This type of impact can cause major head and brain injury such as, cracked skull or severe concussions. They also suffered mild brain injuries at first which can cause headaches, memory problems, nausea and confusion.
